Our Company, Our Commitment

Vision, commitment, and a dedication to caring for others was the motivation to inspire the start of Care First Home Health Company in the year 2000. After receiving certification from the State of Alabama that same year, the commitment to excellent patient care began.

Over the ensuing years many of the geriatric population of Jefferson and the surrounding counties had the fortunate opportunity to receive the care and attention from nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and physicians.

In 2006 Care First acquired the Home Health and Hospice component of Eastern Health Systems, giving the Care First Corporation a Home Health service area of twelve counties in the Central Alabama region. Care First Incorporated is privately owned and managed by a local Birmingham business group. This group of business professionals shares our vision of commitment to excellent care for patients of Care First.

The dedication to continue the high standards of care to our patients is the driving force that keeps Care First a leader in the home healthcare and hospice industries.
